We've got nothing better to do than watch TV and have some brews. So, black flags flying, we're going to throw a tremendous pizza party to raise money for folks doing real good in Chicago. The occasion? John's gigantic gaelic head is going to be on a competition cooking show that we aren't entirely sure we can reveal yet! And we do not trifle with network brass everybody knows and loves — Chopped!
Tickets to this event include pizza from Crust Fund Pizza (with Dennis Lee!), vegan bites from Dragged Through the Garden, apps from Billy Z., and a fried pizza dessert from Josh Kulp of Honey Butter Fried Chicken. Beer and wine are included too, thanks to Revolution Brewing and Middle Brow! We'll have a silent auction with items including guaranteed Crust Fund drop spots, portrait sessions from Clayton Hauck, a private barrel-aged beer tasting with Revolution Brewing's Marty Scott, and more.
And it all ends with live television. What a throwback!
All the proceeds (that's 100%!) from the ticket purchases and winning auction bids will be split between My Block, My Hood, My City and The Friendship Center. So you can feel pretty good AND pretty full when we see you soon for a TV Party.
