Opening Party!!
Come see the new space! We’re opening the doors for whoever would like to stop in and take a peek, enjoy a beverage and some snacks, and say hello.
Next Thursday — June 2nd — 4pm til 9pm
We’re upstairs in Kimball Arts Center (1757 N Kimball Ave) overlooking The 606. If the upstairs door is locked, you can buzz us for entry or check back here for a party code.

It’s technically the last day of the main build, which is amazing. The Underlit bar wall is getting sanded and painted along with spot painting and caulking in the rest of the space. Excited to have people over next week to enjoy the space and hang! Have a great weekend, y’all! 👍
the end of the drywalling
Holy Moses! It’s finally coming to an end! I’d never experienced a buildout before and had no idea how invasive drywall dust can be. The shit. Gets. Everywhere!!
Now that it’s wrapping up we can give the space a nice deep clean and really get things moving in here. Also, this is where the bar “set” is going to go, which will be a bit of a WIP for a few months. Talk more soon!

home stretch
Today’s a big day at sys! The last of the countertops are being set, three sinks are going in, garbage disposal, a dishwasher, a new toilet, the final cabinet pieces and under-cabinet lighting, the tankless water heater. What am I forgetting?! 🤪

Tile Day, yay!
Kitchen and bathroom tiles are going in today/tomorrow. Once done, the plumbing can get finished and we’ll have a fully functioning kitchen along with a nice new in-unit bathroom. Very exciting stuff!
Freezer One has landed
Okay, a bit of a silly update but just wanted to document that the kitchen is still coming together. We’ve now got a big ass freezer to accompany our big ass fridge. Book the space for your food or beverage shoot or event now so I don’t fill this sucker full of frozen pizzas for myself!
underlit goes vertical
While putting up yet another wall wasn’t ideal, this space will be the heart of seeyousoon once completed. Providing both some privacy for the client area and a backdrop for the underlit bar, in the coming weeks we’ll finally be able to call this space home and invite y’all over for a beverage or two, tree. 🍹
Countertops Are In!
The kitchen countertops and backsplash is set, yay! Tiling is up next, along with plumbing and finally some fresh paint. Home stretch… hoping to have the kitchen live and functioning in the coming week or two. Hit me up if you want to get a popup or event on the books!
