You are exquisitely invited to bring your corpse and its favorite accouterments to create a collective art project with Chicago Creative Coalition.
You may wonder what we are talking about: an exquisite corpse is a GROUP art project that is built in segments, by many, with various forms of medium as our tools. We will create one massive installment, adding one piece at a time, created by each of YOU! You do not need to be a visual artist to take part in this project. It is about exploring creativity and collaboration.
We will create at various location stations, so you can find just the vibe that suits you best.
Please rsvp for your human corpse and let us know if you are able to bring materials you may have for the group build. You do not need to bring anything; we will supply the canvas and art supplies. However, great materials you could contribute for this project include, but are, by no means, limited to:
• yarn
• fabric samples or swatches
• wallpaper samples or swatches
• newspaper or magazine clippings
Please! NO GOOGLY EYES.
Before we start creating, we will have a little wine and light snacks to sustain our corpus, and some socializing to feed the soul.
